- The GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL CO-ORDINATING COUNCIL, ACCRA has received approval from the Government of Ghana through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under contracts for the Supply of School Furniture for Basic and Senior High Schools (SHS) in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana
1.0 Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 2003, (Act 663) as amended.
2.0 Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tender Documents from the GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL CO-ORDINATING COUNCIL, P. O. Box M 196, Accra at the address indicated below during the office hours from 08:30 hours to 16:30 hours from Wednesday, 17th July, 2024.
3.0 A complete set of Documents in English may be purchased upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500.00). The method of payment shall be cash.
4.0 Tenderers are required to submit the following statutory documents as part of their Tender in addition to others specified in the tender documents;
• Business Registration Certificate
• Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate
• Valid GRA Clearance Certificate
• VAT Registration Certificate
• PPA Contractor Registration Certificate
5.0 Tenders must be deposited into the box located at the address below at or before 10:00 hours GMT on Wednesday, 7th August, 2024. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of submission. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Security equivalent to the percentage indicated in the table above, from a Reputable Bank or Insurance Company. All prices should be VAT inclusive. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ or their representatives, who choose to attend at the conference hall of the Greater Accra Regional Co-ordinating Council, Accra at 10:00 hours GMT on Wednesday, 7th August, 2024.
