- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of 1No. E-Waste Collection and Dismantling Center at Ada - Sege.
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, revised in November 2017, August 2018, November 2020 and September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. In addition, please refer to Paragraphs 3.14 and 3.15 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on Conflict of Interest.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit, Africa Environmental Health and Pollution Management Programme (AEHPMP), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Address (1) below from 9:30 to 16:00am from Monday to Friday.
The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Seven Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHȼ700.00). The method of payment will be by Banker’s Draft or Cash. The document will be sent by e-mail or collected in person on a pen-drive.
Bids must be delivered to the Address (2) below on or before 11:00am on Tuesday, 27th August, 2024. Electronic bidding will NOT be permitted. Late Bids SHALL be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the Address (3) below on Tuesday, 27th August, 2024 at 11:00am.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Two (2%) Percent of the Bidders Bid Price.
Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
