(GRIDCo) intends to apply part of its Internally Generated Funds (IGF) to finance eligible payments under the contract for the SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF FIRE DETECTION, SUPPRESSION, AND ALARM SYSTEM AT THE BACKUP CONTROL CENTRE (BCC) ANWOMASO, KUMASI as indicated in the Schedule of Delivery in the Tendering Document.

A complete set of Tendering Document in English may be purchased from the Address 2 below, from 09:00am to 15:00 pm local time, GRIDCo Cash Office, Tema, located about 2 km off the Tema-Aflao Highway near Tema Steel Works by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GHS 200.00 for each set of Tendering Document. The method of payment will be by bank transfer in the name of the Ghana Grid Company Ltd’s Account with the under-listed banking details.

Tendering Documents are expected to be available for sale from September 6, 2024 from 09:00am to 15:00hrs local time each working day.
Any Tenderer who purchases a Tendering Document on behalf of another or submits a Tender in a name other than the original Purchaser of the Tendering Document should provide documentary evidence from the other entity mandating them to do so, failure of which will result in rejection of Tender.
A Site Visit and Pre-Tender meeting would be held at the Conference Room of the Anwomaso Substation, Kumasi on October 10, 2024, at 10.00 hours GMT. All Tenderers must attend the Pre-Tender Meeting.
Tenders shall be completed, sealed and marked “SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF FIRE DETECTION, SUPPRESSION, AND ALARM SYSTEM AT THE BACKUP CONTROL CENTRE (BCC) ANWOMASO, KUMASI’’ and delivered to the Address (3) below on or before 11:00 hours GMT on October 30, 2024. A soft copy of the Tender on a flash drive shall be included in the sealed envelope.
Tenders shall be valid up to 120 days after the deadline of Tender submission. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS50,000.00) and in the appropriate form and format included in the Tendering Document. The Tender Security shall remain valid for 28 days beyond the Tender Validity Period of 120 days (total of 148 days) after the deadline of Tender submission.
Late Tenders will be rejected.
Electronic Tendering is not permitted.
Tenders will be opened in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the Address 3 below immediately after 11:00 hours GMT on October 30, 2024.
