- Additional Information:
- 1. The Mfantseman Municipal Assembly (MMA) (the “Employer”), intends to apply a portion of the 2024 District Assembly Common Fund – Responsiveness Factor Grant (DACF-RFG) to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Tenders (“IFT”) is issued.
2. The Works and the Contract expected to be awarded under this IFT is detailed in the description.
3. The Mfantseman Municipal Assembly (MMA) now invites sealed Tenders (“Tenders”) from eligible and qualified entities or persons (“Tenderers”) to provide the works referenced above.
4. More details on the requirements are provided in the Bill of Quantities, Specification, Performance Requirements and Drawings included in the Tender Documents accompanying this IFT which can be accessed through the Ghana Electronic Procurement System (GHANEPS) of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) using the link https://www.ghaneps.gov.gh/epps/app/searchPlan.do.
5. This IFT is open to all eligible and qualified Tenderers who wish to respond to the relevant “Tender Documents”. Qualification requirements are as described in Section III. Evaluation and Qualification Criteria.
6. A Contractor will be selected using the National Competitive Tendering procedures prescribed in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 Act 663 as amended, which can be accessed on the PPA website www.ppa.gov.gh.
7. It is mandatory that Tenderers include in their tender the under-listed statutory requirements.

• Valid VAT Registration Certificate (if applicable)
• Valid Business Registration Certificate
• Valid Certificate of Incorporation
• Valid Certificate of Commencement
• Valid Ministry of Works and Housing Certificate D3K3 or above
• Valid Labour Certificate
• Valid Registration Certificate from PPA
• Power of Attorney

9. A complete set of Tender Documents in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500.00) for each set of Tender Documents. Payment shall be made electronically through the GHANEPS.
10. The deadline for submission of Tenders is at 10:00pm local time on 31st October, 2024. Tenders shall be submitted electronically through GHANEPS and must be delivered on or before the time specified above.
11. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the form and amount specified in the Tender Documents and shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Tender opening.
Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend the virtual opening meeting on GHANEPs
