- 1. The Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has received funding from the District Assemblies Common Fund-Responsiveness Factor Grants. (DACF-RFG), Capacity Support Grants (CSG) and International Development Association (IDA).
2. The Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly intends to apply the funds to cover eligible payment for the Goods and Works package indicated in the description.
3. The Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly invites sealed Tenders from eligible suppliers and contractors for the above mentioned projects. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 as amended and in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic Ghana.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from Municipal Coordinating Director’s office and inspect the Tender document at the address given below.
5. More details on the requirements for UDG Project are provided in the Bill of Quantities, Specification, Performance Requirements and Drawings included in the Tender Documents accompanying this IFT which can be accessed through the Ghana Electronic Procurement System (GHANEPS) of the Public Procurement Authority using the link https://www.ghaneps.gov.gh/epps/app/searchPlan.do. A complete set of Tender Documents in English may be purchased upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵500.00) for each set of Tender Documents. Payment shall be made electronically through the GHANEPS.
6. A complete set of Tender document for DPATVII and CSG projects are in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon a payment of a non-refundable fee Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵300.00) for each set.
7. Tenders must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 hours GMT on Thursday 31st October, 2024. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days as specified in Tender Data Sheet after the deadline of Tender submission. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security or not less than Two percent (2%) of the tender price or as stated in the Tender Data Sheet or Tender Securing Declaration (if required).
8. It is mandatory that Tenderers include in their tender the underlisted statutory requirements.
• Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate.
• Valid VAT Registration Certificate (if applicable).
• Valid Business Registration Certificate
• Valid Certificate of Incorporation
• Valid Certificate of Commencement.
• Valid Registration Certificate from PPA.
