- 2. The Bawku Municipal Assembly now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Contractors for the Construction of the Works indicated in the table above. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as Amended and the guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
3. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from the Office of the Municipal Procurement Unit of the Assembly, and inspect the Tender documents at the address given below from 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours GMT.
4. Tender documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at the address stated below for a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500.00) only, for each set. The document will be obtained personally and with an application letter. Tenderers are advised to use the address stated below for obtaining information, inspection and purchase of Tender Document.
5. Tenders must be deposited into the box located at the Municipal Procurement Unit of the Assembly at or before 10:00 hours GMT on Wednesday 20th November, 2024. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days after the deadline of Tender submission. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of amounts stated in the table above for each package. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderer’s or Tenderer’s Representatives, who choose to attend at the Conference Hall of the Bawku Municipal Assembly at 10.00 hours GMT on Wednesday 20th November, 2024.
6. It is Mandatory that Tenderers include in their Tender the following statutory requirements
a. Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate
b. Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate
c. Valid Business Registration Certificate
d. Valid Works and Housing Certificate
e. Valid Labour Certificate
f. Valid PPA Certificate
g. Power of Attorney
h. Valid Certificate of Incorporation
i. Valid Certificate of Commencement.
j. Valid Registration Certificate from PPA
