- The West African Examinations Council intends to apply its budgetary allocation to fund eligible payments under the contracts for the supply of the items in the description.
1. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003, (Act 663) and as amended in Act, 2016 (Act 914) and is opened to all Tenders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
2. Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from The West African Examinations Council and procure a copy of the tender documents at the Procurement Department, Room HQ 08 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
3. A complete set of Tender documents in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the Head of Procurement, WAEC, Ghana National Office, P. O. Box 917, Accra and upon a payment of a non-refundable tender fees stated accordingly in the table above. The method of payment would be by banker’s draft or cash made payable to The West African Examinations Council.
4. Tenders must be delivered into a tender box located at the CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE of the Accra Office of The West African Examinations Council by 10:00 a.m. on or before the tender closing date stated accordingly in the table.
5. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days and as specified in Tender Data Sheet after the deadline of Tender submission.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of not less than Two percent (2%) of the tender price as stated in the Tender Data Sheet. All tender securities must be by Banker’s Draft or Certified Bank Guarantee.
7. Late Tenders will not be accepted and will be returned unopened to the Tenderer. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives, who choose to attend at the Conference Room of the West African Examinations Council on 10:30 a.m. as follows:
