- 1. The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly has been given approval to implement the activities of District Assemblies Common Fund work plan as detailed in the table below;
2. The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly now invites sealed tenders from eligible Companies/Contractors. Tendering process will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures as specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, and in the Guidelines issued by the Public Procurement Authority.
3. Interested eligible Companies/Contractors may obtain further information using the address given below at paragraph 6 and, inspect the Tender Documents from 9:00am - 4:00pm local time starting from, Monday, August 11, 2025. A complete set of Tender Documents may be purchased by interested tenderers upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (Gh₵500.00) only. The document will be obtained personally and, upon submission of an application letter.
4. In addition to the general requirements stated in the Tender Documents, all tenderers shall also submit the following statutory documents as part of their tenders which must be valid as at the date of opening:
Valid Ministry of Works and Housing Certificate (D3, K3 and above).
Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate - (Project specific).
Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate - (Project specific).
Valid Labour Certificate - (Project specific).
Company Registration Certificate (Sole Proprietorship only).
Certificate of Incorporation (Companies only).
Certificate to Commence Business (Companies only).
Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Registration Certificate.
Power of Attorney.
NB All timber and timber products to be used for this project shall be procured from a legal vendor/supplier.
5. A completed tender document sealed in an envelope, bearing the project’s Name/Description, Package Number and Lot No. shall be deposited into the tender box located at the address below on or before 10:00 hours GMT on Tuesday, 26th August, 2025.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of the Tenderer’s representatives who choose to attend the opening session at the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly’s Conference Hall. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of a percentage amount stated in the table above.
