- .The Government of the Republic of Ghana, acting through the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (the “Employer”), intends to apply a portion of its District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) and Internally Generated Fund (IGF) to Fund eligible payments under the contracts stated in the table below for which this Invitation for Tenders (“IFT”) is issued. Any payments made under the proposed contract will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the funding and conditions to the disbursement of funding. No party other than the Government and the Employer shall derive any rights from the funding or have any claim to the proceeds of the funding.

- 5. A Consultant/ Contractor / Service Provider will be selected under a competitive Tendering method through the evaluation procedure which is described in the Tender Documents, in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 Act 663 Amended as Act 914, 2016.
6. It is mandatory that Tenderers include in their tender, the under listed statutory requirements.
• Valid Business Registration Certificate (for all A & B)
• Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate. (for all A & B)
• Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate. (for all A & B)
• Valid Registration Certificate from PPA (for all A & B)
• Valid MWH /MRH Certificate (D3, K3/A3, B3) and above) for B ONLY
• Valid Labour Certificate. for B(1&2) ONLY
• Power of Attorney (for all A & B)
7. Interested eligible Consultant/ Contractor /Service Provider may obtain further information from the Office of the Metropolitan Co-ordinating Director, and inspect the tender documents at the address given below from 9:00 am hours to 17:00 hours GMT on working days.
8. A complete set of Tender Documents in English may be purchased from Metropolitan Procurement Unit from 9:00 am hours to 17:00 hours GMT by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500.00) for each set of Tender Documents. The method of payment will be by cash payable to Tema Metropolitan Assembly in Tema, Ghana.
9. The deadline for submission of Tenders is Friday, 22nd August, 2025 at 11:00 hours GMT. Tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before the time specified above.
10. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the form and amount specified in the Tender Documents.
11. Late Tenders will not be accepted and will be returned unopened to the Tenderer. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission on Friday, 22nd August, 2025 at 11:30 hours GMT in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Hall, Tema Metropolitan Assembly, Tema.
