- Additional Information:
- 1. The Upper West Regional Coordinating Council in conjunction with the Regional Directorate of Education intends to apply funds from the investment income of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETfund) to cover the eligible payment of Contracts for the construction of some Educational Facilities under the New Target Emergency Projects (NTEmP) in the Upper West Region.
2. The Upper West Regional Coordinating Council therefore, invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors registered with the Ministry of Works & Housing in Category ( D3/K3) and above for the construction of the under-mentioned projects :
The Projects are to be completed within Twelve (12) Month.
Bidders may obtain further information, inspect and purchase Tender Documents from the office of the Regional Procurement Officer at the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council at Wa from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm at a non-refundable fee of One thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 1,000.00) for any Lot.
Bidders would be required to provide the following:
1. Valid Ministry of Works and Housing Registration Certificate;
2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate;
3. Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate;
4. Valid Labour Clearance Certificate;
5. Valid Business Registration Certificate;
6. Valid PPA Registration Certificate.
Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of Contract Sum and valid for 120 Days after tender closing date from any Insurance Company of good standing with the Ghana Insurance Commission.
Completed Tender Documents are to be deposited in a “Tender Box” at the Conference Hall of the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council on or before 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 30th September, 2025. Tenders would be opened in public in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
Contractors shall be selected in accordance with the procedures for the selection of contractors set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663 as Amended) of the Republic of Ghana.
