- Invitation for Tenders (IFT) Procurement of Sulfadoxine/Pyrimethamine + Amodiaquine Hydrochloride Tablet, 500mg/25mg + 200mg (Co-blister pack) for Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention MOH/2014/NCT/B.2.1/01 1. The Ministry of Health, Ghana hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser, has received funding under Non-Budget Financial Support Financial Aid from the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and intends using part of its proceed to finance contract(s) for the Procurement of Sulfadoxine/Pyrimethamine (SP) +Amodiaquine Hydrochloride (AQ) Tablet, 500mg/25mg + 200mg (Co-blister pack) for Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention. 2. The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from eligible registered local manufacturers, for the supply of the said goods listed in the Schedule of Requirement, Section V of this Tender Document. The Tender is open to manufacturers with a track record of having manufactured both Sulfadoxine/Pyrimethamine Tablet, 500mg/25mg and Amodiaquine Hydrochloride Tablet, 200mg. 3. Bidding shall be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Republic of Ghana’s Procurement Act, 2003, Act 663 and is open to all Tenderers from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Board of the Republic of Ghana. 4. Bidders are to provide quotations for the complete quantity of the product and those who offer an incomplete quantity will be rejected. Delivery shall be within 60 days after the date of contract signing 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit, Room 5 and inspect the tender documents at the address given below (Paragraph 10) from Thursday 13th February 2014 from 09.00hours to 12.00hours and 14.00hours to 17.00 hours local time each working day. 6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in ENGLISH may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundle fee of Four Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS450.00). The method of payment will be cash. 7. Sealed bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00am (local time) on Friday 28th February 2014. Late tenders will be rejected. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in person Friday 28th February 2014. 8. Bids should be accompanied by a duly filled and signed Bid Securing Declaration Form (Format can be found on page 105). Failure to comply will render the bid non-responsive 1.
